About
I am a skeletal biologist specializing in population genetics, forensic anthropology, and bioarchaeology. I started out at a community college (Sierra sa国际传媒官网网页入口) where my professors saw something in me and encouraged me to keep taking classes. My bachelor's, master's, and doctorate are in anthropology and my minor is in American Sign Language & Deaf Studies. I have been teaching for more than 20 years at community colleges, teaching institutions, and research institutions.
My areas of research include health, inequities, and biological identity in ancient Egyptians and Nubians, medieval London, and contemporary America, among others. I have a black lab, a tuxedo cat, love to hike, and enjoy watching Brit Box.
I am excited to work with you in my classes.
