    Felipe Galicia, a sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú biology instructor, was awarded the rank of Full Professor at the April 18 Riverside Community sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú District Board of Trustees meeting. Galicia was one of six faculty members selected, the other five being from Riverside City sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú.

    The Riverside Community sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú District Foundation, in support of sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú’s TRIO Programs, received a $50,000 grant from the California Coastal Commission. The monies will be used to expose middle school, high school, and college students to career marine and coastal pathways.
