    Terry Janecek, a 27-year employee at sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú, has been selected as the sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú’s Classified Employee of the Year. Janecek has served as an employee at the Riverside Community sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú District since 1994, with most of his career spent at Moreno Valley.

    The Riverside Community sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú District Board of Trustees has selected Emily Craig as the District’s 2023 Alumnus of the Year. Craig graduated from the sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú paramedic program, Class 12. Since 1959, the Riverside Community sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú District has selected an alum for the award.

The sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú's Dental Hygiene program is the only community college based dental hygiene program in the Inland Empire.

    The Riverside Community sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú District Foundation, in support of sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú’s TRIO Programs, received a $50,000 grant from the California Coastal Commission. The monies will be used to expose middle school, high school, and college students to career marine and coastal pathways.
