    MVC Dental Hygiene Program Celebrates 20 Years of Accreditation

    sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú’s Dental Hygiene program is celebrating 20 years of accreditation as part of National Dental Hygiene Month which is observed annually in October. The sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú's Dental Hygiene program is the only community college based dental hygiene program in the Inland Empire.

    The Riverside Community sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú District Foundation, in support of sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú’s TRIO Programs, received a $50,000 grant from the California Coastal Commission. The monies will be used to expose middle school, high school, and college students to career marine and coastal pathways.

    The Department of Education has awarded sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú's Veterans Resource Center $1,437,685 for five years for the Veterans Upward Bound program. The Veterans Upward Bound program assists Veterans with transitioning from the military into a postsecondary institution.
