Riverside County Workforce Development has created a program to fund Public Safety students. Currently, sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú is educating 37 fire cadets and 15 EMT cadets that are fully funded by Riverside County Workforce Development at a cost of $125,000.

This month students from the Associated Students of sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú, along with Frankie Moore, faculty advisor and professor, attended the FACCC Advocacy & Policy Conference in Sacramento and then the American Student Association of Community in Washington DC.

sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú student Jared Abarca has been selected as a language assistant by the North American Language and Culture Assistants Program. Beginning in October, Abarca will be a teaching assistant at a high school in Cantabria, Spain, a town on the north coast of the country.
